30th Autumn Color Run – September 20, 2014
Half Marathon – 10K – 5K – 1 Mile Fun Run
once again the ACR is proudly benefiting StarPoint and the Boys & Girls Club of Chaffee County
The ACR is Colorado’s premier half marathon. (Click here to see the elevation profile) Shuttle busses drop you off just past Cottonwood Lake and run back to town on Forest Service and County Roads; half the course is on dirt roads and half on paved roads. Wind through colorful aspen groves and descend 2,000 feet back to the best finish line celebration you’ve seen. Bring a friend!
All (except fun run) runners will receive a super soft race shirt. These are the best shirts yet! Fun Run finishers get a blue ribbon.
Half Marathon finishers will receive a finisher medallion.
Expect the same great pasta and salad bar after the race in addition to the amazing assortment of baked goodies that the ACR has become famous
New this year, the FUN RUN will be timed.

The Autumn Color Run is home to one of Colorado’s best half marathon routes. Held each year on the third weekend in September as the aspen leaves are changing from green to gold. The half marathon route begins just above the picturesque Cottonwood Lake (9,600 feet) and winds through forest service and county roads back to town (8,000ft). Half marathon runners are bussed up to the start and may leave a small bag on the bus.
